Launch event for PHENND Sustainability – Feb 25

PHENND, in partnership with colleagues from several area campuses, is launching a new effort — PHENND Sustainability.

PHENND Sustainability seeks to bring educational institutions and community organizations in Greater Philadelphia together to collaboratively use teaching, research, and learning to advance regional sustainability, climate resiliency, and environmental justice. PHENND envisions a prosperous, sustainable, and equitable Greater Philadelphia made possible by universities, schools, and communities working together for collective problem-solving as the intended means and ends of democratic education. As a regional network and platform, PHENND Sustainability aims to share and collaboratively produce resources that catalyze and support campus-school-community partnerships for sustainability across PHENND’s 25 campuses.

The launch event will take place Thursday, February 25th, 11 AM-1 PM on Zoom.
